Is unsure whether her letter will reach him at Falmouth, but feels the need to try sending it by post. Has not heard from him since his departure. Reports that she took their daughter Hannah to a commencement, and also wonders about the health of "Tommy" after his voyage (perhaps referring to their son, Captain Thomas Flucker). Adds that their family sends love to Thomas and asks that he send her compliments to their family in Falmouth.
