Considers in particular the worth of a glass manufactory. Discusses how best to set up his finances for his family, as he is getting old; mentions the possibility of moving to Boston and setting up a business there. Asks extensive questions of the addressee regarding his debts, and expounds upon what each member of his family thinks he should do about his financial situation.
