Document is signed by Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, Isaac Winslow, and numerous others inhabitants. A land agreement involving Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, Isaac Winslow (the heirs and representatives of the late Brigadier General Samuel Waldo), and the inhabitants of Penobscot Bay and Canaan, Maine. The heirs agree to supply the inhabitants who agree to their payment terms with warrantee deeds. The land is being sold to the inhabitants for four shillings, or 2/3 of a dollar, per acre without interest as long as payments are timely made. A list of the inhabitants and the amount of acres owned is also included.
