General McCook replies to correspondence from Perley, chairman of the Autograph Committee of the Cleveland, Ohio Sanitary Fair. Says "I am sorry to say, that I have not now in my possession, any orders or correspondence pertaining to the War, all having been forwarded to the proper departments. God speed you in your great work to comfort and care for our gallant soldiers in the field. What nobler work could the glorious people of Northern Ohio be engaged in?"
