Written from the Steamer Augusta. Yulee, a U.S. Senator from Florida, writes to Walker, Secretary of the United States Treasury. Encloses a proposal (not included) from a firm in Cincinnati. Requests that Walker inform the firm of his views on an unspecified topic. Instructs Walker to handle two cases, and to send information regarding the cases to him at St. Augustine (possibly Florida).
