Writes to his brother about a chat he had with Senator John F. Kennedy. Dave had mentioned Sam in their conversation and Kennedy remembered him from the previous summer. Kennedy commented on his namesake, Sam Houston, being featured in his book "Profiles in Courage." They talked about Houston and inscribed a book to Sam, which Dave was sending to him from Washington.
