Van Slyk testifies that Mr. Cuyler told him that it is not within the Governor's power to grant Robert Livingston the power to choose assessors and collectors to assess the inhabitants of the Manor. Signed with van Slyk's mark. This is followed by a similar testimony given and signed by David Salisbury, 22 March 1716.
