The document states that Jurian van H[oe]se, Symon Schermerhoorn, and William Hol[ts]e are bound to the people and city of Albany for the sum of 50 pounds. It then goes on to explain that the three men have a pass from the Governor to trade with the Indians of Ottowa, and if they decide not to trade with the Indians of the 5 Nations for peltry, then the current financial obligation will be declared void.
