Preceded by a copy of a letter from 19 April 1741, in which Charles Mayne & Co. ask Robert, Jr. not to purchase any wheat on their account, but to buy flour instead. In the letter from 28 May 1741, they write that they have heard of the prohibition put of Robert, Jr.'s trade, and also give the prices of wheat and flour at various locations in Europe and the colonies.
