Peter Robert writes that he wishes he could confirm his father's report that the Stamp Act was repealed, but states that he has received no news in the affirmative. He notes, however, that there is now a great majority in opposition to the Act, and it appears that it will be repealed eventually. Peter Robert also expresses surprise at his father's demand for the repayment of a debt, and discusses some other contended issues between father and son. Docketed on address leaf.
