Apologizes for not writing sooner. Details the Guard's march. Notes that his brother Theodore said he is going to be transferred into the New York Battalion when the 25th goes home, and discusses the potential for Theodore's promotion if this does happen. Reports that he is hoping to get a furlough to come home, but cannot at the present moment. Written in graphite.
