Nixon thanks Taurog, the wife of filmmaker Norman Taurog, for her friendship and support at a 23 August 1973 news conference. At that conference, Nixon announced the resignation of Secretary of State William Rogers and the nomination of Henry Kissinger as his successor. He also took questions on the Watergate investigation. Written on White House stationery a little over a month after John Dean's Watergate testimony. Also includes three identical cards with "The President" printed on each.
