One undated photograph entitled, "Brady's Incidents of the War. Harpers Ferry & Vicinity, VA. 22nd Regt. N.Y.S.N.G.," taken by Matthew Brady. Image is of 12 soldiers of the 22nd Regiment of the New York State National Guard. Pictured with them is a Black boy posed in front of tents at a Union campsite. The soldier sitting on the far left is cleaning his rifle. Some soldiers are in uniform, while others are in civilian dress. Ink inscription on verso reads "Edie with his Aunt Mary's Core."
