A print of a photograph of the Provost Marshal's Office of the Army of the Potomic. Taken at Brandy Station, VA which served as the headquarters of the Army of the Potomic after 1863. A small group of men standing in front of two well constructed log cabins [including glass plate windows in doors] with brick chimneys and tin-lined roofs. Graphite inscription on verso: "Gardner XI 259."
