O-89. In 1909, Victor D. Brenner used this portrait and O-88 as models for the Lincoln-head penny (Ostendorf, 174). Graphite inscription on verso "O-89B." Ink inscription on verso "Lincoln, Abraham." Photographers imprint on verso "Brady's National Photographic Portrait Galleries No. 352 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C., and Broadway & Tenth st., New York."
