Ostendorf p. 32 identifies the men as Revs. Brown (left) and Trevan (right). Three additional black men gather against a fence in the rear of the photograph. Ostendorf p. 32 identifies the horse as "Old Robin", whose nickname was "Old Bob." Graphite notations on verso "39," "Lincoln's Favorite Horse" and "Lincoln's Horse at time of Funeral."
