Ostendorf identifies the man as Lockwood Todd, nephew to Mary Todd Lincoln. Imprint on recto "Brady Washington." Graphite inscription on verso mistakenly identifies the photograph as "Mrs' Lincoln's children and her Brother [Robert] Todd of Kentucky."
