As major general, half-length seated view, facing left Photographers imprint on verso: "Bishop [struck: & Campbell], Photographers, Army of the Cumberland. Sole owners of the Life Negatives of all the Cumberland Generals, Letters directed to Head-Quarters, Dept. of the Cumberland."
