Done after a Mathew Brady photograph. Shows Lincoln surrounded by an emblematic border done by New York illustrator William Momberger. The images in the borders portray the defeat of the dragon "Secession," freed slaves, western emigration, rural prosperity, and eventual peace between North and South.
