The Earl of Shaftesbury Anthony Cooper writes to his godson, Ashley O'Rorke, to discuss how illness makes you appreciate health, and remark that they will pray for each other's continued good health. Cooper asks the little boy to imitate a quote: "And Jesus increased in wisdom, & stature; & in favour with God & Man."
