"A Manifesto on Peace" is reprinted from the Richmond Sentinel. "Religion in the Confederate Army," reprinted from the Richmond Eunquirer, details minutes of the annual meeting of the Baptist General Association of Virginia, including reports of publications, army evangelists, chaplains, tract depositories, and need for laborers.
