Indicates that "the cotton crop of Paul McCall for the year 1862 and subsequent years is mortgaged to AS Morgan... conditioned that the said crop of cotton shall be delivered on the Ouachita River and thence shipped to New Orleans by said Morgan..." The shipment of cotton is impossible" on account of the condition of the country," thus McCall and Morgan agree the cotton should remain on McCall's plantation. Cosigned by A.S. Morgan. W. Johnson signs as a witness.
