Writes he arrived in Chicago, where he was admitted to the Marine Hospital until the twenty-fifth and had two more bones removed from his foot. He thanks Ogden and conveys his mother's thanks as well. Encloses two pictures (not included) in the letter, one for Mrs. Ogden and the other for Mrs. Perot. Includes an embossed seal in the upper left hand corner. Envelope includes a three cent stamp.
