Writes she received Ogden's letter and is glad to hear that her husband has improved in health. In his last letter, he wrote that he would be rejoining his battery. Says she wants to discourage him from doing so because she does not think it wise considering his weak back. Asks that Mrs. Ogden accept her many thanks for her kindness and care.
