Apparently an unused bill of sale for the disposal of Jefferson's slaves by Thomas Jefferson Randolph, Jefferson's grandson and executor of his will. "Know all men by these presents, that I, Thomas J. Randolph, Executor of Thomas Jefferson... have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain and sell to the said [blank] certain [blank] negro slave [blank], named [blank] late the property of Thomas Jefferson, deceased."
