Signed by Clous as Captain of Company E, 24th Regiment. Signed by H. F. Leggett, First Lieutenant of the 24th Infantry, as a witness. Signed by Major H. [Chairman?] as inspector and mustering officer of the 24th Infantry. Lists the names of soldiers, and includes their signatures or marks confirming receipt of payment for service 28 February 1874-30 April 1874. States that the 24th is led by Colonel J. H. Potter. A note written across the printed text of the muster roll indicates that the soldiers of Company E were paid 9 May 1874.
