Signed by principal lighting engineer, Charles L. Clarke. Depicts generator body with four stacks. Printed text on mount identifies Edison Machine Works as the site of the dynamo's production. Pencil inscription below title reads, "1881." Image is largely faded at bottom and shows signs of staining. See GLC07616.07 for a view of another Machine Works dynamo.
