In the forefront of the engraving a man carrying a rifle stands at the rivers edge as sailboats drift down the river. Engraved by Samuel Valentine Hunt after a painting by William Rickarby Miller. Printed by W. Pate. The original painting was in possession of the publishers at time of engraving.
