Should have written them sooner, but has not felt like writing recently. "This month is the worst part of the year for wounds… because the weather is so changeable." Is anxious to go home as soon as possible. Hopes he will get to spend at least a month at home this spring. At least there will be something for him to do at home, even "if it is nothing more than picking up chips." Feels ashamed to go home without being able to do much work. Has not heard from Providence and does not know why he would have. If Father wants him to, however, he will travel to Rhode Island with him as soon as he gets his discharge. Cannot write anymore at the moment. Written at Dale General Hospital

- The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
