One letter addressed to Davis Wetmore from Nellie Joe Wetmore dated July 18, 1963, She is visiting a girl's vocational school 15 miles outside of Athens, but will be staying in the city with her church group and attending lectures again. She wants to get a haircut in Athens. She sends her love and well wishes to everyone and comments on the gossip at home, warning Davis not to get involved. She asks for her grandfather's address, and asks why Davis' vacation itinerary changed.
