One letter addressed to Davis Wetmore from Nellie Joe Wetmore dated July 27, 1963. Writes that she flew through a storm leaving Rome. In Venice, Nellie bought crystals to replace the ones lost earlier in the trip. She went on an early morning boat tour, went to the market, and saw a procession in St. Mark's Square. Nellie comments in awe on the amount of international trade and foreign boats.
