Conner asks Nueal "how do the people back there think the ware is coming along now?" He hopes that it does not last as long it has. He writes that he was glad to hear of Olen's marriage: "he is a good ole boy and its about time for him to gump the broom Ha! Ha!" Conner's postscript reads "P.S. my A.P.O # is 913 instead of 37."
