Herbert writes Nancy that he thinks of her and is always waiting to hear from her. He received her letter which made him very happy, especially because of his presence at the "depressing place" where he is stationed. He is glad she likes the watch he sent her and wishes he saw her before he returned to the "hell hole." Herbert mentions that Christmas and New Year's were not too eventful for him. He went to Tijuana on Christmas and spent New Year's at the barracks. He hopes she is happy and in good health and closes by saying, "May God Bless You and may all your problems be small ones," signed, "Love ya and Miss Ya, Herb." He encloses photographs (not included) from his leave and return to military service.
Letter included with GLC09600.19.01.
