Nancy's mother writes that she brought her grandmother to the doctor's as she "was not feeling good at all." Nancy's mother mentions the affairs she is attending to regarding the passing of Nancy's grandfather. She spent a full day at the Veteran's Administration and has been writing thank you cards. Many sympathy cards have been received by Nancy's grandmother. She mentions family and friends that have been in contact with each other and that Te Te (Tillie) is visiting over the weekend. Nancy's mother is sending Nancy's meal ticket with Bobby, and her mother mentions that the material for her clothes is very pretty. She closes by asking her to take care of herself and to not "worry about everything."
