One letter from Robert A. Winemiller to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated October 31, 1942. Robert is glad to hear Leonard is doing well. He recounts life on base. Includes ten mile runs in the rain and mud, picking up leaves, and sowing grass seed. Robert hopes to be home the first of December. Training includes gun handling, map reading, defending from aircraft, tanks, and chemical warfare, and marching. Robert hopes to gain some weight while there. Robert also hears from a woman named "Jane," but she didn't mention going steady. He suggests, "Load up some new girls for me then I can get a line on them when I get a leave- keep out of the army if you can." Signed, "Fuzz." Written at Camp Forrest
