One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff dated December 15, 1944. He comments on snow storms in Pennsylvania and hopes they are staying warm. He updates them on his work in the shop. He also mentions that he has a Christmas tree in his locker and received two cards from France. One from Dick Miller and one from Robert Winemiller who are both okay but thinking of home. He is sending a thank you card to Doutrichs a clothing store that sent out free tobacco to servicemen and comments on the cigarette shortage. He thinks it is the perfect time for Raymond to cut back on smoking like he has always wanted to do. He mentions that Jack Myers has been discharged, and discusses the expected payout for soldiers who served. He is getting more photographs made that he will send out and sent a money order with this letter to go in his savings account.
