One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff dated March 7, 1945. He updates them on his most recent liberty; he went to the movies, ate lunch at the U.S.O., bought Easter cards and went to Waikiki to listen to an orchestra. Received letters from them, Doris Bixler, Dick Miller, Dottie Erickson, Ed Zell, Bertha Hutton, Dot Runk, Mary, June Walter, Orsyulak, Mrs. Moyer and Brenners. He also received photos from Mary, Dottie Erickson, and Dot Runk. He mentioned that the photo of Runk was her in a hula skirt. Erickson sent him cookies. Mrs. Moyer reports that Kennith Moyer is in England. He mentions that he might ask Dot Runk for a date, but does not want to upset Robert Winmiller as they used to date. He predicts that he will be back on mess duty soon. He also mentions the V.F.W. and that he knows he’s eligible but didn’t plan on joining yet. He’s looking forward to the Foreign Service magazine. He mentions Bus Funk has been sending him a sports newsletter.
