A thank you letter from Michael D. Crapo, the House representative for Idaho's second district, to Moorhead for his support against Congressman Obey's amendment to the Energy and Water Appropriations Bill which would kill research and development for electrorefining spent fuel at Argonne labs. He declares that, "The future of safe nuclear waste disposal depends on the continued development of this program. The program is good science and fiscally responsible. It is supported by the National Academy of Sciences, the Administration, the House Science Committee, and the House Appropriations Committee." This letter is on Crapo's House of Representative stationery.
