One letter from Ellis A. Stebbins to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated December 31, 1973. Stebbins supports the impeachment of President Nixon and writes, "Among the people of Oregon the credibility gap is so deep and so wide as to make restoration of confidence in Mr. Nixon an impossibility without some drastic action such as impeachment." A copy of the letter was also sent to Congressman George Danielson, and Congressman Charles Wiggins.
