One letter from Thomas W. Livingston to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated October 28, 1973. Livingston supports the impeachment of President Nixon. Mentions firing of Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox and writes, "As distasteful as I find impeachment proceedings, I feel there is no alternative to the despotic and cynically corrupt way in which Mr. Nixon uses and has used power. His dismissal of Cox and his performance during Friday's News Conference are the actions of a desperate man - a man pathologically attached to power no matter what happens to the principles upon which this nation was founded."
