One letter addressed to Joyce Robinson from Richard J. DiChristina writes that he shot 42 on the rifle test and that he "will get a metal [sic] Baby I will." He mentions how hot the weather is and that he received the picture she sent him.
DiChristina writes how much he wishes to marry Joyce once she turns eighteen. He closes by stating that he will write again tomorrow and in a postscript promises not to "be a bad Boy."
