Spanning this pamphlet is the report given by Charlene Mitchell at the 20th National Convention of the Communist Party held in New York February 18-21 1972. This report discusses the court battle for Angela Davis's freedom. At the end of this pamphlet there is a postscript that reads, "Since the convention, Angela Davis has been released on bail, a resounding people's victory. However, it is only a partial victory. We must make it crystal clear that the only complete victory in Angela's case will be when the people's movement will have succeeded in turning this frame up into a defeat for Reagan and Nixon, and acquittal-complete freedom-for Angela Davis."
