One pamphlet entitled, "Interstate Compact To Conserve Oil And Gas," dated June 28, 1943. This pamphlet contains the agreement between Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Kentucky to conserve oil and gas. The agreement was originally reached and approved by congress in 1935, it was renewed in 2 year increments. The agreement is concerned with regulating drilling for natural gas and oil to ensure that resources are not being wasted in any way. The agreement was renewed for four more years expiring on September 1, 1947.
