One first edition of The Inaugural Book of 1973 published by the 1973 Inaugural Committee in honor of the inauguration of President Richard Nixon and Vice President Spiro Agnew. Contains chapters on the official messages and program of the 1973 inauguration, an introduction titled "The Spirit of '76," "The Nixon Years," "The Vice President," "The Pat Nixon Years," and a conclusion. Most pages feature numerous color photographs from Richard Nixon's first term as President with accompanying quotes from campaign speeches, his First Inaugural Address, and other addresses and remarks to the nation. Adhered to the inside of the book's front cover and first page are two invitations to the inauguration of Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew, a general admission "Standing Room Senate" ticket, and an inaugural ball ticket.
