One letter addressed to Arthur Ruhl from E.H. Swan dated Petrograd, October 20, 1923. Pertains to following up on the matter of the bird (from GLC09761.31, GLC09761.35 and GLC09761.35). Swan notifies Ruhl that the zoo is unwilling to sell the bird. He states the director of the zoo had been approached by another American zoo about the same bird. At that time the zoo could not part with the bird due to its rarity.
