One pamphlet entitled, "A Narrative of Five Youth from the Sandwich Islands," printed in 1816 by J. Seymour. Recounts the narratives of five young Hawaiian boys who were placed in schools in New Haven, Connecticut by a sea-captain. The accounts led to the creation of a missionary school in Hawaii. Final pages describe native Hawaiians as "heathens."
