One newspaper clipping sent by Omer H. Kelpe to Virginia Heidt Kelpe in a letter dated February 12, 1945. The article is entitled Making a Nation of Athletes and features a photo of a man performing a sit up. An annotation in pencil is across the top that reads, "This was taken out in front of the barracks. Our PT instructor and a fellow that works in the office."
