Augsberger writes to Ardena to wish her a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. He reminisces about New Years of '42 at the midnight show with Ardena. He wishes he could be home this year with her, but hopes that by this time next year they will be together for good. He reports that he saw Paris for the first time yesterday, and will tell her all about it when he returns. Augsberger sends his love and closes the letter.
