Ariel Merrick

Ariel Merrick is a vice president in the Capital Partners group at Brown Brothers Harriman where she leads the wealth management team that works with the BBH Partners, their families, and select external clients. Prior to joining BBH, Ariel was a private wealth advisor at Goldman Sachs for over five years. In this role she advised high-net-worth individuals (including Goldman Partners), nonprofit endowments, foundations, and entrepreneurs on their investment management, trust and estate planning, and philanthropy. Before Goldman, Ariel began her career in the nonprofit sector, working primarily in fundraising. She spent over six years at the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, followed by time at a healthcare nonprofit in the South Bronx where she developed the board and private funding. Ariel holds a BA in English and Dance from Barnard College and received her MBA from Columbia Business School. Ariel is a member of the President’s Council for the Gilder Lehrman Institute and board chair for The Campaign Against Hunger.
