Pierce, third assistant Secretary of State, transmits the photograph contained in GLC00861.01. Responds to a letter from September 2, 1905 letter from Jeffery (possibly publisher and printer William Hartley Jeffrey) requesting that Pierce acquire the signatures of the photograph's subjects, including President Theodore Roosevelt. Letter written on Department of State stationery.
